Emergency Management – Online Curriculum

Author: Lake Sumter Community College is offering a new, on-line curriculum in Emergency Management. Each of these EM courses is eligible to serve as an elective in the criminal justice, Emergency Medical Services, or Fire Science programs.
Beginning in January of 2010 LSCC will begin teaching Introduction to Emergency Management as a “hybrid,” online course. The basic design of the course is that it will be 50% classroom time and 50% “virtual” classroom. In the summer of 2010 LSCC will offer the second of the eight courses, Public Policy in Emergency Management.
